Back in December, I had the wonderful opportunity to review the Parenting Cards created by We Choose Virtues. My children and I fell in love with the vibrant cards filled with fun characters and LOTS of VIRTUE.
These cards can be used in many ways to teach your children biblical character traits in a way that they understand. Using characters such as Chuck and Duck, Stop Sign Madeline, Cake Jake and more, the cards describe one virtue displayed on the front using an "I am" statement. Then it is followed by a short sentence that describes what that virtues DOES look like and another "I am" statement describing what people who display this virtue are NOT. At the bottom, there is an applicable Bible verse.
Then the back of the card you will find a scenario involving the character on the front of the card that shows how the virtue looks in action or how it should NOT look. It also includes Virtue User Challenges for the entire family to participate in. On this card for self control, the challenge is for everyone to do something that they usually get in trouble for NOT doing. There are also Teachable Moments with discussion points and suggestions for activities to do with your child to help them see the virtue in action.
Each set of Parenting Cards comes with 13 cards printed on quality cardstock for durability. They are available in two choices of Bible versions: NIV and KJV.
These are perfect for the homeschooling family to use during their Bible/devotional time! To read my full review of these cards, you can see my post here.
For the final day of my 10 Day giveaway series, We Choose Virtues has offered to give to one reader, a set of their very own Parenting Cards!
