Sibu Balancing Facial Cleanser--GIVEAWAY!

There is a fruit known as the Himalayan sea buckthorn berry that  apparently has many health and beauty benefits.

It is an all natural fruit that contains antioxidants, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, omega 7, and amino acids and has been said to aid in inflammatory issues and possibly even in cancer prevention.

It is edible and can be made into juices, pies and more but also can be used to make skin and beauty products such as lotions and cleansers.

A few weeks ago I was sent a bottle of Sibu Balancing Facial Cleanser, which is made from these berries to test out and review.

I received a 4 fl. oz. bottle of the cleanser.  The directions say to use a small amount both morning and evening to cleanse the face and neck.  I typically wash my face at these times daily and so I just substituted this cleanser in during my normal routine.

The cleanser is gel like in texture and has a pleasant fruity smell that smells similarly to oranges or other citrus fruits. You truly do not need much, maybe a quarter size or slightly smaller amount in the palm of your hand and it will work thoroughly. When applied to the skin, it is smooth with small micro particles to help exfoliate without a rough scratchy feeling.

I'm hesitant when it comes to facial cleansers because I have combination skin and most leave me either feeling greasy or extremely dry.   After the first use of the Sibu cleanser, my skin felt refreshed, clean and moisturized to just the right level.  I didn't even need to apply my facial lotion after washing.  It removed makeup without a glitch and kept my face feeling fresh for several hours after use.

I just finished out my bottle this week, so even though it seems small, it lasts well.  It probably would have stretched longer, but I suspect that a few small hands may have squeezed out a few squirts from curiosity. :)
