I'll start off with my oldest child, my sweetpea princess, Gabriella. Gabby will be entering the first grade this year and she is very excited about it! She is 6 years old and loves to read, read, read, read, and read some more. She enjoys the American Girl historical series and books about pioneer days. She is extremely precocious and is a chatterbox who is always ready for a conversation! She loves arts and crafts, playing with dolls, and learning how to cook with me in the kitchen. She loves her ballet class and is anxiously anticipating the start of her fall classes next week! She is a very sensitive and sweet natured child who genuinely wants to please others and she has a caring and nurturing personality. She is also a natural born leader who loves to make sure everything is the way it is supposed to be down to the last detail.
Next comes my Bub a Chub, Aron. He is my 4 year old ball of energy and will be beginning kindergarten this year. Running, jumping, climbing, rolling, spinning, and general rambunctiousness is a large part of Aron's daily routine. He adores anything to do with cars, trains, and superheroes (especially Larryboy from Veggietales). He loves to sing songs and he frequently makes up his own words to popular tunes. He loves to fight and defeat invisible villains wearing his pinned on Lightning McQueen blanket as a cape, green rubber rain boots, yielding his plastic sword. David and Goliath is his favorite Bible story. He loves to wrestle with Daddy, build towers with Duplos, and make tents with blankets. He is an excellent cuddler and always finds a way to snuggle up with either me or my husband many times throughout the day.
Finally, there is the Lyddiebug. Lydia isn't schooling yet, but she is very much a part of our everyday learning. She is a two year old bundle of sweetness and loves to be involved in whatever activity the rest of the family is participating in. She is a little ham who loves to be silly and make people laugh. She is getting really good at putting together wooden puzzles and can tell you the sounds of all the letters of the alphabet. Her big sister and brother are her best friends and she follows them around all day long. Her favorite food is strawberries and she will stuff her mouth so full of them that she looks like a chipmunk gathering food for the winter. She loves the Wiggles and dances along to any song that they sing. She's a precious little girl who loves to snuggle up in laps and give what we call "Bug Hugs."
There they are, my three little blessings. How many students do you have?

Your daughter sounds like my daughter at that age. She still loves the Am. Girl books and wearing her pioneer/prairie dress...although it is growing a bit snug.
ReplyDeleteAw, how sweet! We have a couple of bonnets, but no dress yet, although there are a few on Etsy that I'm drooling over!
