It Could Happen Tomorrow

End times prophecy is a topic of great interest to many people both believers and unbelievers.  There have been many, many books written that detail just how the events that play out in the Bible will occur in modern times. There have been many more written that decipher the numerous prophecies in Daniel and Revelation that speak of all the various happenings that the Lord foretold before His imminent return.  Even Hollywood has dipped its hand in movies all about the different theories on how this earth will meet its demise.  It Could Happen Tomorrow by Gary Frazier is yet another book added to the list in this category.

What makes this book different from the countless other options available?  In my opinion, it's the emphasis on Scripture rather than mere conjecture that make this one stand out a bit in the crowd.  Gary Frazier lays out the scriptures that speak of all the events of the end times from the Rapture to the Lord's Second Coming in great layman speak.  He also does an excellent job of showing how things that are already happening, already in motion throughout the government systems worldwide could fit perfectly in with the events the Bible describes.  As a disclaimer, I think you should always remember that any book on end times prophecy cannot tout that it knows exactly what will occur when it comes to future events.  Only the Lord truly knows just what will happen in the future and how everything will line up exactly according to His Word, but I believe that Gary Frazier has done a great and thorough job at putting a very probable face on how everything could unfold while also showing how events that have already occurred line up with other prophecies.

This book made for a rather intriguing read and I found myself many times nodding my head and saying, "Ah!"  I'm not a political person and sometimes I find it hard to keep up with what is going on across the world, but I had no difficulty keeping up with the descriptions in this book.  It's very much a read for average person.  I should also mention that this book comes from a decidedly conservative Protestant, young earth creationist viewpoint, so if your beliefs do not line up there, you may not enjoy this book at all.

This is definitely an informative book that makes you think and encourages you to delve into the Bible on your own to read more on the events that will shake the world before Christ returns.  As someone who has always felt that I wasn't intellectual enough to decipher all the prophecies, this book certainly gave me the confidence to put on my thinking cap and try, relying on the Lord to give me the knowledge as He sees fit.  It is definitely going to find a home on my bookshelf.

*I received a complimentary copy of this book from New Leaf Publishing Group in exchange for my honest opinion.  I was not required to give a positive review*
