I've now had the opportunity to receive and review the second book in this series, Gabby's Stick to It Day.
In this installment, Gabby seeks advice on how to encourage Sophie to become more responsible. You see, Sophie has a tendency to not finish what she has started. When Sophie gets tired, discouraged or frustrated, she runs away from her responsibility, taking the easy way out. Gabby spends
quite a bit of time, cleaning up after Sophie's messes or trying to prevent accidents from happening. How can she help Sophie learn to stick to it when things get hard?
This is a very cute, encouraging story for little girls based on Galations 6:9:
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
The pictures are vibrant, the story has depth, but is light and fun all at the same time(and there are sparkles on the cover AGAIN!). Gabby teaches Sophie that God wants us to do what is right and good, so we must never give up. This would make a great addition to any little girl's library.
