AB4T: The Answers Book for Teens

You're right, I don't have a teenager.

Despite that fact, I was asked to review this book, so I happily dove right on in.  If you are at all familiar with Answers in Genesis, you may have heard of their series of Answers books that is written to help give Christians and nonbelievers biblical answers to common and not so common questions ranging from creation/evolution to the deity of Jesus.

They also have a successful kids' version of this series that answers these foundational questions on a level that children can understand.

Now, we have a book geared towards the teen set.

This book is a shortened, succint version of the original book that is written in a fashion to make it more relatable to the teenage set, but does not talk down to them.  The fifteen questions range from If God's so great, why does He let so much pain and bad stuff happen in the world, like earthquakes, floods, and wars? to Why should I listen to what the Bible says about sex?

Each question has a detailed, solid biblical answer but is not overly lengthy or longwinded so that it will keep the attention span of today's on-the-go young teen.

Teenagers need to be able to understand and defend their faith otherwise they can be lost with all the thousands of youths who have walked away from the faith once they are out on their own.  This book would make a great resource for your teen if they are a believer or a good guide for someone who is interested, but has doubts.  This would also make a good resource for those who work with youth ministries.

This is the first volume in the series.
